Today was our first day on the worksites! We were at 4 different locations: Faith Tabernacle Church, Claremont School, Bethesda Gospel Hall, Golden Grove All Age School. We continued our work at Faith Tabernacle that we started on previous trips- we have been building a second story that will provide housing to women in the area needing a safe place to have a fresh start. At Claremont we are painting the exterior of one of their classroom buildings and fixing up a classroom. At Bethesda Gospel Hall, we are working with one of the members to tear up and repave their driveway for easier access to their church. At Golden Grove, we are painting the interior of their school and fixing the holes in the roof. It was great to get started and our team is excited to continue to work towards our final goal for each site tomorrow.
